Goodness only knows why people do this; you would think, wouldn't you, that if they can find time to request the item, and then to make the collection arrangement, then they could find the 1 minute it would take to call (or e-mail)...

I always delete these first why should they be made an offer of they cannot be even bothered to type a few lines or to ask nicely, manners cost nothing and after all the item is being gifted to them. Its not too much to ask is it ?
I like to see a short explanation and for my sins I tend to ignore the 'I'll have it' brigade. I then allocate a number to the requests that I like and draw lots for the recipient.
