West Fife Freecycle no more

I've just learned that West Fife Freecycle has left freecycle and become something else.

Just wondering what it's all about - there seem to be new people involved - wasn't aware of any consultation - I'm quite happy with freecycle, not got a problem with new groups, but it seems a bit cheeky to just take everybody with them.

Is anyone planning taking over West Fife Freecycle?

West Fife Freecycle changed name only. It is no longer run as a freecycle group, BUT is still commited 100% to Recycling.
The group is still going very strong and all are welcome.

Am a Member there and have no notice of this????? i just have everything on daily digest hence when i put things on i wait 24 hours so everyone gets a bit or the cherry.

The original message dates back to November, when the original West Fife Freecycle was removed from the Freecycle network for reasons which were never explained and was renamed as a Recycle group.

Freecycle set up a replacement which has been up and running since November - this is maybe the one you are a member of Shirley?
